You are not alone in wondering what is and isn't recyclable. There's a lot you can recycle so we've created this site to give you the “yeps” and “nopes” of residential curbside recycling in Phoenix.

While you're here, you can find out when your collection day is. And there's other useful stuff, like About Contamination where you can find out more about contamination and the importance of recycling the right items My Stream where you can vent about “what contaminates your stream” tips for making recycling easier and you can sign up for Keep Phoenix Beautiful's electronic newsletter.

About Phoenix's Recycling Program

More than half of what we throw away can be recycled. Recycling helps conserve landfill space, preserve natural resources and control rising waste disposal costs. Phoenix's residential curbside recycling program was one of the first automated and commingled recycling programs in the country. Today, more than 400,000 households can participate in the citywide curbside recycling program.
